and appreciation of Bay Area watersheds, with an emphasis on education.
Friends
of Five Creeks is an excellent source for information and
volunteering opportunities regarding Codornices, Village, Marin,
Blackberry, and Cerrito Creeks.
Alameda
Creek Alliance protects and restores the natural ecosystems
of the Alameda Creek watershed.
Friends
of Baxter Creek was formed to protect this creek from being
buried by a supermarket. Now, the site is restored and healthy.

of Sausal Creek is an organization devoted to the preservation
and enjoyment of Sausal Creek in the Oakland area. The site includes
a schedule of workdays for native planting and wildlife monitoring.

of Strawberry Creek is dedicated to protecting this creek
from the Berkeley Hills to the San Francisco Bay.
Live
Oak/ Codornices Creek Neighborhood Association covers Live
Oak Park and Codornices Creek in Berkeley. Codornices Creek is
currently undergoing a large restoration project and steelhead
trout protection plan.
Friends
of Temescal Creek is dedicated to restoring the creek to a
riparian corridor from the hills of Oakland to the San Francisco
Bay.
